Tech 21 CPS-EM Character Plus English Muffy Effects Pedal

Character Plus Series English Muffy, SansAmp Preamp, Fuzz, Balanced XLR-output, Versatile Controls, 100% Analog Signal Chain, Durable Metal Housing

Tech 21 Sans Amp Character Plus Series English Muffy offers a 100% analog, 2-channel amp model and an fuzz pedal in a very compact case. Featuring very versatile controls, both of the amp channels are equipped with a Character-control, which gives you multiple amps in one pedal. Both channels also feature independent Volume and Drive-controls and the channels share a 3-band EQ.

The Muff section also has its own level, tone and sustain controls. You can also use the English Myffys three footswitches to change the channel of the amp model, switch the fuzz on and off or bypass the whole pedal.

The English Muffy works great as a stompbox with an amp, as a pre-amp to drive a power amp or as a direct box to a mixer of a PA.

Range of Character Settings
Below 12 o’clock yields clean, classic tones.
Nearing 12 o’clock brings you into crunchier territory associated with ‘70s.
Above 12 o’clock accentuates upper mids for leads.
Full up may cause your mate or your lead singer to flee the premises, which could be desirable in certain circumstances.

Independent Muff Section Features
The Muff section of the English Muffy is modled after a legendary fuzz pedal. You can use the Sustain pot to adjust the overall amount of drive. The Tone pot is a very musical, specialized passive tilt EQ.
