ESP Edwards E-AL-166 Katakana Alexi Laiho Signature Lefty

ESP Edwards E-AL-166 Katakana Lefty is a special Alexi Laiho signature model. This left-handed Edwards Series instrument is originally intended for Japanese market only, and it’s very rare outside Japan! The guitar is handmade in Japan, using only high quality tonewoods and parts.

Now available as an Edwards version, the black & yellow E-AL-166 Katakana features an alder body with neck thru body construction for maximum sustain and access to higher frets. The satin grip neck is made of three piece hard maple and fretboard is ebony with 24 extra jumbo -sized frets. Fretboard is scalloped between 20-24 and features sawtooth inlays plus ”Alexi” text written in Japanese katakana.

Other premium features include Gotoh tuners, Floyd Rose tremolo bridge and a EMG HZ FH-2 passive humbucker pickup with ESP MM-04 preamp booster and on/off switch.

The Katakana Alexi model is finished in gloss black with yellow pinstripes on front and back of the body, white neck and headstock bindings and gold hardware.

The guitar comes in a high quality ESP soft case.
