All drum kits of the New Yorker™ Series are of course equipped with DW®s True-Pitch® tension rods, high-quality REMO® heads and a versatile bass drum mount. In addition, each kit has a bass drum lifter to accommodate almost any kick pedal variation.

Because versatility is such a crucial factor for him, the genre-spanning New York star drummer Daru Jones has joined forces with PDP to develop a special edition of this line that bears his name.

The high-quality, extremely gig-friendly Daru Jones New Yorker™ kit includes the four-piece drum set including a complete DW® 6000 Ultralight™ hardware set and nylon bags to transport everything with ease.

The poplar/maple hybrid shells in this version are sized in "short stack" sizes that deliver a remarkably big and warm sound, despite the enormously reduced dimensions. The already extremely cool appearance is further enhanced by the coarse-grained gold-to-black Sparkle Fade finish.

The DJNY kits are equipped with True-Pitch® tension rods, high-quality REMO® heads, a weight-reduced bass drum mount and a single row of dual lugs for each. For the snare, DW®s innovative MAG™ drop throw-off has been added.

Everything speaks for this kit. But the real argument is in the sound.
